Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO said: "In order to implement integrated watershed management (IWM) projects in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari province, the province's IWM budget will be increased by 20%".

According to FRWO's website, Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO, in a joint meeting of members of the Commission on Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources of the Parliament and Parliament's Fraction on Environment in Majles with Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari officials held in Borujen on Friday evening, said: "If IWM projects are identified as being effective strategies to manage through drought, the project budget will be increased next year."

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad, stating that 48,000 hectares of Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari lands have been affected by drought, clarified: "The document for the restoration of the Zagros forests has been prepared and presented to the National Steering Committee for the Protection of Zagros Forests".
